Life Drawing & Painting – Two-Week Long Pose
A single three-hour pose, held in two successive sessions depending on model availability, and alternating between a nude or a costumed model.
Cost: $20 for members; $25 for non-members; $30 for instruction with Mel Delija
Friday
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Gestures and Long Pose
A series of gestures followed by a long pose in the last half.
Cost: $20 for members; $25 for non-members
Saturday
10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (some flexibility)
Instructed Studio Time
Bring your artwork to the studio and get some one-on-one instruction with Mel Delija.
Cost: $30
Sunday
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Portrait Drawing with DVAC
Attending members serve as models.
Cost: Free
Participants may use any medium of their choice. Easels, boards, and benches are available at the studio as is storage for wet work.
Other Activities
Friday Nights with DVAC: FHAC members are welcome to attend the DVAC’s Friday Night where professional artists selected for a variety of styles and media discuss and demonstrate their work and process. Currently offered online.
Cost: Free
Workshops: FHAC members can sign-up for Workshops offered by DVAC. Currently the workshops are offered online, featuring contemporary artists who cover a variety of media and share their tips and techniques in a two-day format.
Plein Air: FHAC members are welcome to join DVAC for any of their plein air outings.
Above Ground and Deserres offer a 10% discount to members.
